Fitness & Conditioning

Strength & Conditioning Classes: Students of all levels are able to attend weekly fitness & conditioning sessions that not only encourage Cardio Vascular development, but striking (punching & kicking) skills as well. Beginners are encouraged to attend these sessions, since Strength and Conditioning classes allow new students to focus on the fitness aspect of their martial arts training. A typical Strength and Conditioning class involves boxing on focus pads, heavy bags and physical exercise using body weight and some light weight dumbbells. The classes are designed to raise your level of fitness in order improve your self defence ability, hence fitness sessions are based around preparation for combat unlike many gyms and health clubs.
