By Car (from M25. NB. We are approx 4 miles from the M25): Follow M25 to junction 24. Exit M25 at J24 and join the A111 (Stag Hill) sign posted to Cockfosters. Follow the A111 (Cockfosters Rd), passing through Hadley Wood you'll arrive in Cockfosters. On passing Cockfosters tube station on left, continue along the Cockfosters Rd until you arrive a roundabout (Cat Hill Roundabout). Ignore the first turning on the left and take the next exit signed posted Chase Side. Follow Chase Side, you'll pass the 'Chicken Shed Theatre' on the left followed by 'Saracens Rugby Club' also on the left.
Follow the road straight, you'll come to a set of traffic lights. Drive straight over these lights. Chelmsford Rd is the next Left after the Pelican Crossing. On turning left into Chelmsford Rd, follow the road until you see an industrial estate on your left. The estate (Chase Side Works) is situated on the corner of Linden Way and Chelmsford Rd. The entrance for the car park can be found by the MOT garages.
Nearest Tube Station: Southgate Tube Station (0.2 miles) which is on the Piccadilly Line. The station is approximately a 10 min walk from our school. There are two options in which to walk to the school from the station. On leaving the station bare left and walk along Chase Side, you'll pass the various Shops and the Police station. If you continue along chase side you'll eventually arrive at a mini roundabout, Asda will be on your right. Walk pass Asda and you'll see Chelmsford Rd on your right, just before the Pelican Crossing. On turning left into Chelmsford Rd, follow the road until you see an industrial estate on your left. The estate (Chase Side Works) is situated on the corner of Linden Way and Chelmsford Rd. The entrance for the car park can be found by the MOT garages.
Route Two: On leaving the Tube Station. Take the road opposite (Chase Rd). Follow Chase Rd for about 10 minutes, Chelmsford Rd is the second turning on the left. Follow along Chelmsford Rd, Chase Side Works will be found on you right.
Buses & Over ground: There are various buses that service Southgate town centre. Indeed, there are bus stops at the junction between Chelmsford Rd and Chase Side. Nearest over ground is Winchmore Hill (which is 1.2 miles away from our school). |
